Prednisolone is an adrenal corticosteroid.

It has effects such as glucose metabolism, anti-inflammatory, anti-toxicity, anti-allergy, and anti-malignant lymphoid tissue diseases.

[Use 3]

Clinically, it is mainly used for the treatment of adrenal insufficiency, connective tissue disease, severe bronchial asthma, dermatitis and other allergic diseases, acute leukemia, malignant lymphoma and the like.

The potency is about 4 times greater than that of hydrocortisone.
